Asking for help may be one of the hardest things that you do in your life, congratulations to you, on taking this courageous first step towards getting help with whatever you may be struggling with. I am passionate about this work and consider it an honor to sit with others and bear witness to all aspects of their healing journeys. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is essential to one’s success in therapy and I am committed to honoring everyone’s unique family dynamics, community, culture, ethnicity, age, and gender.

I hold an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Mercy University. My training prepared me for a wide range of problems that exist within people and within their relationships. Earlier in my career, I worked as a special education teacher for 13 years, and I am trained as a trauma-informed yoga instructor.

I create a warm and empathic environment where we can explore whatever you may be struggling with. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the healing power of humor and invite that into the room when appropriate. I work with adult individuals. Please reach out if you’re interested in collaborating on your goals.
